STREETS OF COMPTON is a documentary series that explores the history, culture, and resilience of one of Los Angeles' most iconic communities. Through the voices of residents, artists, athletes, activists, and community leaders, the series examines Compton's influence on music, sports, and American culture while highlighting the people working to shape its future.
As Story Producer, Jose helped develop and shape character-driven narratives by pulling soundbites from interviews, crafting story arcs, and collaborating with editors to transform extensive footage into compelling documentary episodes.
Jose was also given the opportunity to edit a behind-the-scenes feature, oversharing production of making the series.
